Midwest Hackney Sale

Any news from the sale?

The sale seemed to be very well attended but I guess no body had any money.
They had right about 60 ponies to sell. $2500 was the highest pony sold. Followed by a $2000. The rest went cheap. They had about 13 no sales and 11 never received a bid.
The tack sale looked to be fair. They also sold more carts and other rolling stock than usual

It's been my observation over the years - not just in our recent bad economy - that auction sales in general are a terrible place to sell a pony, but a great place to buy one.
